Cissys Kitchen @ Fleadh Cheoil na hEireann 2011
For the Cavan Fleadh Cheoil na hEireann, a friends dad is part of a comedy sketch based on a typical Cavan kitchen in the 1950's, which needed to be advertised via posters and a billboard.

After a few sketches, this was the chosen layout/drawing. The background was later modified (drawing was scanned and then coloured in on Adobe Illustrator and openCanvas to anyone interested)
8x4ft billboard... finally finished!

Taking a sneak preview in Cissys Kitchen before it's opening...

It was cool bumping into these signs! There is a number of them hung around Cavan town directing towards the venue.
On top of the billboard and advertising posters, 1000 business cards were printed and left in the kitchen. Huge, huge, HUGE thanks to 'Mick' for the interest and trust and to 'Cissy' for the kind words! I called into the kitchen during the Fleadh and it was almost impossible to walk around inside and outside-- proving the show was a success! Well done guys!

Alongside the above, one of the creamy cans was painted for a collection for Self Help Africa

And not to forget Granny Annies late fifth husband who she couldn't bear to bury, so she had him stuffed, mounted, and placed in the kitchen.

Toasty
The bigger piece of toast is just a keyring (just need to get a ring/chain) while the other three are cufflinks and a soon-to-be toast earring! I was messing around with fimo last night while talking to the device and decided to make cufflinks for the debs. The earring is a on-the-sly matching accessory. Why toast though? Well, why not?(Currently in Cootehill and the only photo capturing device I have is a phone... with no focus... woohoo)
